Everyday either on my way out or back home on the Metro Green Line train from Crenshaw Station to Norwalk Station, I look at the Hollywood like I long for it. I watch it like it’s gonna move. I truly gaze at it.
Then I see the bigger picture, the landscape, the mountains, the beauty of the view. The feeling of angst meets anxiety on the clearest of days as I start to feel boxed in. Not only in my city, or my situation at home, or the train. Just on a much larger scale.
